Headed to Rodeo Houston 

Everyone who knows this cowgirl knows how I feel about rodeos. Going to Vegas is a given anymore.  I just can not seem to stay away. Spending February in Dallas has also become a fixture. Except I missed  the PBR Iron Cowboy  and RFD-TV’s The American this year. But the rodeo gods work in mysterious ways. I am going to catch the last weekend of Rodeo Houston.

When I look at my bucket list, which I also call my retirement plans, Rodeo Houston is right up near the top. So when an opportunity to go to Houston presented itself and I grabbed it and decided to go to the stock show.

I am working on securing interviews from some arena warriors while I am there. Lots of big names are going to be competing in stages over the course of the month.

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is the official name. It runs all month at the NRG arena in Houston. According to the Facebook page it boasts that over 33,000 volunteers help pull this amazing month of rodeos, shopping, and concerts together.

Unlike other stock shows and rodeos I have been to, Rodeo Houston’s rodeos are filled with lots major entertainment directly aftet the performance. This year includes Sam Hunt, Alan Jackson, Alicia Keys, Willie Nelson, Luke Bryant and many others.

So expect to be dazzled during the last weekend in March. I will be on all of my media vehicles Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, and Facebook (Anastasia or cowgirl19114) .
